Director, E-Commerce//Cosmetics, Beauty Job in New York City, New York US
Corporate global cosmetics manufacturer is seeking a Director, E-Commerce for prestige brand.com. This position is responsible for managing and delivering the sales goals, customer experience and site merchandising with a key goal to maximize overall conversion rates within a branded online environment.
This role is a key driver of advancing the usability, structure and functionality of the entire site.
This involves phases of brainstorming, concept, business case design, testing, launch and post-audit.
The role is responsible for leading the design of product placement on the company website, as well as the development of on-site campaigns regarding product collections, new launches, key product repromote and promotional events.
Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage all online efforts to increase site traffic, conversion rates and sales, maximize customer acquisition, improve and grow successful customer programs and drive overall brand awareness of the Brand.com. This leader drives the communication and reinforcement of the Brand value messages on their website and designs the core planning calendar in collaboration with brand leaders of marketing channels and production.
This work is done in collaboration with the Global Brands cross-functional teams to ensure successful product and brand positioning for all programs with an emphasis on equity product stories and trend ideas that influence the placement of site campaigns.
Reports directly to the Vice President, E-Commerce.
Supervises Manager of E-Commerce and E-Commerce Associates.
Works closely with E-Commerce Marketing Manager, Copy Director, Creative Director, and Productioin Director.
