Position Description: JOB SUMMARY: • Under general supervision, provides end-users complex problem solving, training, and project management for assigned application software, including non routine processes and functionality in accordance with PSC policies, practices, and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responds to end-users calls requesting help using the system appropriately and tracks issues and resolution• Resolves user non routine functional and process issues.
Recommends or performs actions to correct problems based on application and system knowledge.
• Documents end-user procedures.
• Develops training materials and conducts training classes based on user needs and system requirements.
Recommends new system functionality and processes based on user information and requests.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications to user community either verbally or through written documentation .
• Implements, coordinates, directs activities required to execute project plan for application installation, modification, and or enhancements, including acting as system administrator for users and customer setups• Prepares and distributes management reports of activity, problems, and utilizaition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: • High school diplomaDEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Internal client satisfaction• Development, distribution, and updating of documentationJOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: • 0 - 2 years application experienceDEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Well-developed knowledge of application's functionality, correct usage, and applicable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft environment • Effective communication skills with both unskilled and highly-skilled application users.
• Flexibility to adapt to procedural enhancements and modifications• Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills• Excellent customer service skills • Flexibility to work more than 8 hours in a day 30-50% oe time or as needs arise.
