Design EngineerDescription: Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for a Design Engineer to work on-site with one of our clients.
This is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities Design Engineer to support Lafayette Marine engine design team.
Responsibilities include new product design, current product improvement, and shop support for the C280 Marine engine.
Engineer filling this position will both design components and direct others completing design, analysis, and checking work.
Requirements: Qualifications 4 year BS degree in engineering 3 years industry experience in a mechanical design position Excellent verbal and written communication skills Pro-E experience required Self-starter with proven ability to lead and direct projectsDesirable Qualifications Experience with Caterpillar EDS and HVC is highly desiredFMEA, FEA, and CFD experienceExperience with diesel engine external component design including castings, tubes, and fabrications.
