Design/Drafter Job in Austin 78744, Texas US
The primary mission of our group is to adapt our existing product lines to fulfill our customers needs.
This entails undertaking the engineering, design and documentation of new parts and assemblies to meet these requests.
Other functions for our team include providing technical support to the sales organization for quotations and after sales support for our product lines.
Prerequisites- Electrical background preferred- Mechanical background a plus- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment- Minimum 5 years experience with AutoCAD- Experience with Pro-E a plus- Conversant with electrical design for hazardous areas preferred- Familiarity with domestic and international electrical design codes- Conversant with basic hydraulic systems - Experience with Microsoft.net (VB or C#) a plus- Fundamental leadership characteristics- Focused, self motivated, innate learner who attends to the details- Effective interpersonal skills- Verbal, written and graphical communication skillsRequired Skills: ELECTRICAL, MANUFACTURING, AUTO-CADJoin Aerotek Energy ServicesSM one of the largest providers of specialized personnel and management services to the commercial nuclear industry, the Department of Energy, the utilities industry, and engineering and consulting firms throughout North America.
