Department Manager, Risk Management Job in Arlington Heights 60005, Illinois US
Pace Suburban Bus has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Department Manager, Risk Management.
Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Director of Internal Services, directs, designs and oversees the organization's risk management programs; selects, evaluates and guides the Risk Management Department staff; directs and manages the decisions, activities, initiatives, policies, procedures and methodologies of the Department; manages and approves worker's compensation claims; oversees the administration of the liability claims; establishes and administers levels of insurance for service providers and contractors; oversees the administration of subrogation claims; develops and recommends appropriate insurance coverage levels based on nature of exposure; manages insurance renewal processes and recommends appropriate risk transfer methods; performs other duties as required.
Serves as Pace Advisor to the RTA Loss Financing Plan.The ideal candidate must have at least seven years progressively responsible risk management experience including responsibility for purchasing insurance and managing claims.
Bachelors degree required, and CPCU or ARM designation preferred.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and experience using RiskMaster claims and risk management software (RMX) and Business Intelligence reporting tool desirable.
