Demand Planning Configuration Analyst (Technical) Job Job in Chicago, Illinois US
DescriptionLevel 7/8This Configuration Specialist duties include but are not limited to: requirements gathering, functional setup and configuration, fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, implementation, go-live activities and production support for APO Demand Planning.
Collaborates in business process transformation activities for the design of the business processes and ensuring that the configured system conforms to the enterprise-wide design approach while meeting the needs of end users.
This role will provide subject matter expertise to the PI community of users in Demand Planning and also provide project management on the creation and rollout of the PI reference template (PIRT).Key Responsibilities: Working with the business community- Assist in communication of project accomplishments to gain support and buy-in for the project goals and objectives.
- Act as a contact point for clarifying business process issues within SAP APO - DP module.
Team Management- Participate as core team member of PI COE's Supply Chain Team and occasionally represent as subject matter expert for Demand Planning processes.
- Monitor and manage progress to meet project milestones within APO Demand Planning area.
- Ensure successful configuration and testing of the SAP processes for APO - DPPlanning, Execution, and Monitoring- Assist in preparing detailed project plans for the Demand Planning area.
- Track and report project status on a regular basis including identifying, categorizing and escalating project issues that need management attention.
- Participate in reviews and stage-gates with senior management as they relate to Demand Planning processes.Job Qualifications - Competencies: - Hands on experience with CIF (APO Certified Interfaces)- Hands on experience with DP configuration and master data- Preferred - Knowledge of both beverage and food industries supply chain operation strategies- Preferred - Functional experience in overall Integrated Supply Chain Planning Solutions.
- Knowledge of the integration points between the Supply Chain process areas and other functional areas.Job Qualifications - Behaviors: - Ability to deliver a process design for the Demand Planning area- Ability to present and defend design decisions across Business Units.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting skillsRequirements: Minimum Job Requirements: - 2+ years experience in implementing and configuring SAP APO - DP- Exposure to Statistical Forecasting- Understanding of APO configuration structure- Good understanding of live cache concepts- Good understanding of supporting integration that affect the APO application- Good understanding of Planning Books, Data Views, APO Macros and Alerts- Experience with SAP APO ABAP Development a big plus.
