Database Engineer-SQL Server 2008 Job in New York, New York US
Sound Business Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Database Engineer for a 6 month contract position for their client in New York City.
The focus will be on design and development on SQL Server 2005/2008Requirements7 years development experience.
2 years of data migration experience, data quality assessment, data cleansing, loading and validationIn-depth experience and understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 databasesUnderstanding of database architecture, design, development and administration on Microsoft SQL Server / Windows platform.
Experienced in Data Modeling, logical and physical database design, performance tuning of existing database applications and design of Backup and Recovery procedures.
Working experience in RDBMS (eg Oracle, SQL Server) Experience with .net programming is a plus.
Strong communication skills are mandatory for this role.
