Database Engine Software Design Engineer Job in Mountain View 94043, California US
Job Description: This is a contract opportunity for a Developer with expertise in Database Engine design and debugging to work for a globally recognized software company.
This position will be responsible for overall design, development and team coordination of software projects under deadline pressure.
Must be able to communicate standards and defend technology and scoping decisions to information technology management and development teams.Job Experience: 5+ years of work related experienceDatabase Engine design and development expertiseStrong C/C++ skills, especially debuggingStrong analysis skills, especially in looking at problem data and finding the causeProject management and software engineering process expertiseStrong understanding of global business/functional areasAbility to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutionsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience / trainingMac or Unix skills useful, but not requiredMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years
