DIRECTOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Job in sullivan 61951, Illinois US

We have the following opportunity to join our team: Manages and mentors Engineering, Design and Test personnel to develop, improve and test new products or product features in compliance to high company standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Formulate project schedules, cost estimates and specifications.
Review developmental needs against the companys strategic goals and return on investment.
Provide technical support to other units of the organization.
Develop project budgets.
Assist in problem solving to achieve; product reliability requirements, completion of milestones, cost targets, product specifications and safety standards.
Reviews, approves and coordinates product changes to maintain or improve cost/benefit ratio.
Oversee Product Development and Test Facility staff.
Assures that work conforms to high technical and organizational standards.
Confer with management, production and marketing to determine feasibility, cost effectiveness and customer demand for new and existing products.
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and at least 13+ years experience in Product Development.
Proven leadership and management.
Must be motivated, self-starting individual.
Knowledge of fluid power dynamics is a plus.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Sense of urgency.
Demonstrated innovativeness and creative ability,Willingness to take ownership and participate in hands-on projects.
