DB2 DBA on iSeries Job in Lexington 40511, Kentucky US
TEKsystems has a client in north Lexington seeking a DB2 DBA to manage the database on an iseries platform.
This position is contract to start and the intent is to hire a permanent employee.
This is a W2 contract position to begin and the client has the right to hire permanent after three months.
This position is to manage a DB2 database in an iseries settings for a supplier to a global manufacturing entity.
There are various technologies currently installed and SQL and other databases are part of the company but this person will solely manage DB2.
This database is a critical piece of the company logistics.
This is a casual setting and the candidate would be given remote access as needed.
This is a standard work shift.
Candidates must pass a background check prior to the position.
Two references in regard to prior DB2 work are required.
This position is forty hours per week.
No overtime will be worked.
