DAPAGLIFLOZIN US MARKET RESEARCH LEAD Job in Princeton 08540, New Jersey US
Leads market research for Dapagliflozin, a investigational Type II Diabetes medication, in the US market, developed by Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and marketed by BMS & AZ (Astra- Zeneca plc).
This role will develop and lead the market research for the US launch of Dapagliflozin acting as a key advisor to the US launch leader and a member of her leadership team Needs to independently represent the market research function on key business teams and meetings contributing in ways consistent with the Worldwide Market Research vision and strategies.
Deals with complex business issues by identifying and providing superior analyses and reasoned solutions based on the integration of a variety of data sources.
Demonstrates the ability to accurately assess business issues and develop the appropriate market research designs to address them.
Demonstrates mastery of primary research designs and analysis, and can independently develop customized non standard research to address more complex, multifaceted business issues.
Demonstrates a strong technical understanding of marketing research models and consistently utilizes these to drive superior decision making on all initiatives ie brand marketing and business plans, etc. Champions innovation and contributes to the innovation programs related to the business.
Demonstrates strong skills in communicating with and persuading others.
Communicates concisely and positively with all levels and functions in the Organization.
Written presentations and documents are concise, business focused and impact the key business issue being addressed.
Managing research with multiple vendors, knitting insights across work streams, and across business functions to provide advice to the brand leader and the Business Unit head.
Presenting to the President of the US operations on this critical asset.
Shows ability to develop one full time manager.
Has the skill to work through the team, in addition to independent contribution.
Knows how to navigate through multifunctional JV (Joint Venture) teams.
8 - 10 years working in market research.
Demonstrated ability to work with a range of technically and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done, and delivering value added business results that meet high quality requirements within tight deadlines.
Broad experience in the key functional areas of market research.
This experience should include design and analysis of primary physician and consumer market research, including positioning, message testing, secondary data analyses and models, and forecasting models, and promotional response analysis.
Pharma experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong researchers/leaders of all backgrounds are encouraged
