Customer Service Representative Job in Chicago 60618, Illinois US
Job Purpose: Serve customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service issues.
Duties: * Assist customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting information about other products and services available.
* Process incoming phone orders and provide inside sales support.
* Maintain customer account information in a fast-paced environment.
* Research and resolve product and service issues by clarifying customer's needs, determining the cause of problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting corrections or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution.
* Heavy customer contact via fax, phone and email regarding pricing and product availability.
* Heavy data entry, shipment tracking and returns/credits.
Skills/Qualifications: Candidates need to be highly motivated, dependable, outgoing and able to work well with others.
Must have strong communication and documentation skills, listening and phone skills with superior follow through.
Candidates must be professions with positive attitude and be highly computer literate with close attention to detail and capable of multi-tacking.
An apparel background (not retail) is preferred for this position however please note that this position is not retail.
