Customer Service Representative Job in Carneys Point, New Jersey US
Job Description: Due to business growth, Our Client in Carneys Point, NJ is seeking to add a Customer Service Representative to their existing team.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of Customer Service involving incoming orders for finished goods as well as resolution to problems as it relates to customers and brokers.
Major Responsibilities: Processes customer orders according to their requirements whether they come in via EDI, fax, email, VMI or phone.
Ensures accuracy of order information and adjusts orders according to production schedules, customer requests, lead time, EDI errors.
Provides customer with order and/or shipping delay information as necessary.
Resolves internal and external problems impacting orders including issues related to carriers, logistics, production, and quality.
Regularly interacts with the sales organization to resolve difficult customer issues.
Understands customer trends and implements win/win strategies to eliminate loss for the customer and Clement Pappas and Company.
Builds strong relationships with the customer including for some customers managing their ordering through the vendor managed inventory program.
Requirements: High School diploma (or equivalency).
Associates degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year customer contact experience.
Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong computer and standard desktop application skills.
Experience/knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
Experience with Retail Link is preferred.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
