Customer Service Representative - Maternity Leave Coverage Job in Canton 02021, Massachusetts US
Customer Service Representative MW (Maternity Leave Coverage) Sika Sarnafil manufactures high quality, single ply roofing and waterproofing membranes.
With over 40 years experience, Sika Sarnafil's roofing and waterproofing systems are recognized for their ability to withstand the test of time.
Our solutions are successful and we service our customers by providing beneficial support in the form of comprehensive design review and technical advice during construction.
We currently have a temporary opening for a Customer Service Representative in our Canton, MA location.
This individual will be responsible for the fulfillment of receiving, processing, shipping and completing customer purchase orders for Sika Sarnafil products and services.
In addition, this individual will support the region with projects that further improve operational service to customers.
The individual in this position is responsible for fulfilling the process of receiving, interpreting, entering, shipping and completing customer orders for products and services of Sika Sarnafil.
This position reports to the Manager of Customer Service.
The responsibilities include: - Utilizing the Sales and Distribution module of SAP. Follow and remain proficient in procedures to enter and manage Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.
This position will be responsible for servicing all accounts located in the southwest region- Monitor SAP generated back order lists, open billing lists, scheduled picking and shipping lists, etc., to fulfill and stay ahead of customers orders and related needs- Promptly answer questions from customers and sales representatives as they arise.
- Become and remain proficient in Sika Sarnafil products, services and operational procedures pertaining to Sales and Distribution- Become and remain proficient in order processing/invoicing requirements for shipments to Mexico- Provide backup support and coverage for other Customer Service Representatives as directed- Promptly answer phone calls and/or questions as they arise- Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect your work area or other company property- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - High School Diploma- 2-5 years of work experience in a similar position The candidate should have the following personal skills and abilities: - Professional Aptitude with good problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills- Computer literate (Windows Applications: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes email); SAP and database knowledge required- Detail oriented- Good follow up skills- Customer service oriented with good communication skills- Knowledge of the construction/roofing industry is a plus If you are interested in this temporary position, please send your resume including salary requirements to us.
