Customer Service (entry level, biotech) Job in South San Francisco 94080, California US
Service provider and manager of patient assistance programs for many pharmaceutical and biotech companies, non-profit and charitable organizations is seeking Benefits Investigation Specialists (Customer Service Associates) to join their team.
Benefits Investigation Specialist will work with different parties including private and public sectors, insurance administrators, hospitals, physicians, and patients to deliver compassionate customer service and patient care in the reimbursement of specialized medications.
Benefits Investigation Specialist will serve as a main point of contact and maintain close interface over the benefits and reimbursement process.
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and a genuine/proven interest in the medical, healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries and experience delivering excellent customer service.
Specific experience in medical office administration, benefit verification or customer service at an insurance company is preferred but not required.
Qualified candidate will have strong customer service, interpersonal, and decision-making skills and will be able to work independently and utilize resources in a team environment.
Will have some familiarity with medical terminology, patient diagnosis or insurance processes.
