Customer Engineer/Network Engineer Job in Waltham 02452, Massachusetts US
The Network Engineer will implement technology as part ofthe regional Customer Engineering team.
This position is a multi-facetedand dynamic opportunity for a hands-on technical engineer that is looking to beinvolved in all aspects of technology.
The position involves resource and timemanagement for projects, system analysis, system consultation and design fornew clients, and third tier support for junior staff.
The individual should bea detail and process oriented person, as well as possess solid problemsolving skills.
In addition, the Network Engineer must have excellentverbal and written communication skills to keep our clients, management, andother Customer Engineers informed.
Responsibilities: Designingand implementing modern networks including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches,routers, and firewallsDesigning,implementing, and trouble-shooting multi-site Active Directory environmentsDesigning,implementing, and trouble-shooting Microsoft Exchange environments Preferably, this individual should also have some ofthe following experiences in technology: * Configurationand troubleshooting of Cisco/Juniper switches and routers* Handson experience with Citrix implementations and support* Handson experience with VMware design, implementation, and support* Datacenter implementation and management Required: Minimum of 3-5 years related hands-onwork experience.
Work experience must includesupporting local area network connected devices or any equivalent combinationof education and experience.
Willingness to work eveningsand weekends on occasion.
