Cummings Properties is seeking an individual with minimum of three years purchasing experience in the construction and/or maintenance field to join our multi-disciplinary Purchasing department.
Responsibilities include: assisting the Purchasing Manager in making informed and appropriate selections of purchase of goods and services, monitoring all contract purchases, negotiating, evaluating, preparing and processing orders, expediting delivery of goods, maintaining favorable relationships with vendors, and locating competitive vendors for best pricing.
Current projects include major new multi-story commercial buildings, exterior faade and interior common-area upgrades to existing buildings, and office, retail, and laboratory fit-ups.
Full time opening with very competitive pay and benefits, including 401(k) plan.
Formed in 1970, Cummings Properties, has designed, built and now manages 10 million square feet of mostly commercial real estate north and west of Boston.
The 300-person firm is based in Woburn, Massachusetts, with a significant office at Cummings Center in Beverly, Massachusetts.
Applicants must reside in the general vicinity of Woburn.
