Cost Engineer - Construction Job in New York, New York US
Cost Engineer - Construction Our client specializes in the Heavy Civil construction market in New York and New Jersey.
The companys expertise includes tunnels, water treatment facilities, roadways and bridges.
Job responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following: 5+ years experience in heavy construction projects in and around NYCMust be familiar with Cost control, Requisitions, Payments and PurchasingPrepare requisitions, review and process project invoices, project change order requests, prepare monthly cost report Set-up the cost codes and tracking of the projects actual costs to the budget Preparing monthly schedule updates with cash flow and revenue projections Tracking quantities of production and billing quantities Maintain cost data bases Prepare and analyze project cash flow reportsEstimating experience preferred Knowledgeable in Primavera P3 softwareAbility to analyze specs / drawingsExperience working on site is a plusMust be highly motivated self sufficient and able to work under minimal supervisionGood communication skills essential for team-based interaction.
Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced environment.
Attend and participate in project meetings Education requirements: Degree in Construction / Engineering field The company offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
