Cost Analyst - Decision Support/Financial Analyst Job in Greenville, South Carolina US

You will be responsible for: Providing guidance and leadership in Decision Support Assist in review of analyst work performed Knowledge of hospital operations and cost accounting Provide support and guidance to executive group for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting Responsible for monthly cost calculations and provide support to decision support database Use modeling and other financial tools to perform analysis Work closely with IT team to resolve in software issues Process improvement as needed Understanding of healthcare accounting and reimbursement Financial analysis presentations to Directors and management Coding knowledge or analysis of clinical data/processes a very strong plus Requirements BS degree in accounting or finance 5+ years experience Experience in Decision Support Required Strong software skills.
With systems similar to STAR, Trendstar, Avega, or Meckesson Statistical analysis and problem solving skills Strong communication and management skills MBA, or CPA a plus The location is near Greenville (45 minutes)Relocation assistance provided
