Corporate Accounts Director Job in Boston 02109, Massachusetts US
Integral member of the Corporate Accounts Leadership Team setting goals, objectives and strategies.
Lead, manager and direct Shire National Account Managers team that drive the commercial business of Shire within the following market segments:
Managed Care Organizations/PBMs
Pharmaceutical Wholesalers
Pharmaceutical Retailers1.
Develop goals, objectives and strategic direction as a member of the Corporate Accounts Leadership team.
(20%)2.
Lead, manage and direct the Corporate Accounts Manager Team.
(30%)3.
Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for each market segment.
(10%)4.
Drive contracting initiatives with targeted accounts.
(20%)5.
Provide growth and development to the Corporate Account Manager team.
(10%)6.
Successfully work with the Business Units sales and marketing teams to ensure cost effective product positioning across market segments.

Requirements: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, MBA preferred; 3-5 years CA/Managed Markets field management experience.
Excellent skills in planning, organization and problem solving.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong business acumen.
Strong negotiation skills.
Provide solutions to complex business issues including decisions involving significant P&L impact.
Primary contact with Shires largest and most influential business partners.
Reports to Senior Director Corporate Accounts.
Excessive travel required.
Must be able to work in high paced work environment.
