Coordinator of Financial Aid Job in Brockton 02302, Massachusetts US
Position Available: ImmediatelyGeneral Statement of Duties: The Coordinator of Financial Aid will manage the federal Direct Loan program, maintain the policy and procedures manual, review financial aid applications and packaging awards, and counsel students and their families.
Will coordinate the planning, organization, and administration of all financial aid programs.
Review a portion of students chosen for verification.
Manage all aspects of Direct Loan processing and certification, default management, and loan reconciliation.
Make presentations on and off campus.
Coordinator will counsel and advise students and their families, assist in preparing and updating all financial aid publications.
Will assist with the administration of the non-participation policy and aid adjustments and organize the daily activities of the Financial Aid Office including assistance with fund management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.
Supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff and perform any other duties as assigned.
Job location will be on both the Canton and Brockton campuses.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Business, Accounting, Human Services, Sociology or closely related field with four years experience and/or training involving financial aid operations, loan processing, and computer operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
Knowledge of Federal Direct Loan program regulations and experience working in a community college preferred.

00 - $80,317.
