Controller Job in Pasadena, Texas US
Controller TechCorr's inspection and nondestructive testing services provide our customers with valuable information, which, in turn, enables them to make cost effective decisions regarding the use of materials, components and plant facilities.

TechCorr is seeking a seasoned Controller to maintain all GLs, manage closes and all accounting controls.
The Controller will report to the CFO and will interface with the external CPA on a routine basis.
Responsibilities: · Set benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of locations· Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget· Oversee daily accounting functions A/P, A/R, cash disbursement, and cash receipt processes· Perform analyses of general ledger liability and expense accounts· Monitor cash flow, validate and process vendor invoices for payment · Identify needs, draft and implement efficient accounting and record keeping processes· Prepare and file year-end Federal Income Tax· Assign / delegate functional responsibilities for routine accounting and inventory control · Responsible for updating benefits plans· Direct financial and inventory audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements· Represent the company externally to government agencies, banks and clients and investors· Train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff.
· Assist with other administrative management including contract administration Qualifications: · 3 plus years experience in a Controller level position· 5 to 7 years of accounting experience· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles with understanding of P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements· Industry experience is a plus· Multinational experience is a plus (Canada, Mexico, India, US)· International accounting experience is a plus· CPA is a plus· Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems· Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations · Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections· Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and product-line profitability analysis· Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule· Ability to negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing and terms· Excellent MS-Excel, MS-Office, and PC skills Qualified candidates should submit a resume and salary requirements to: techcorr_controller2010 [at] yahoo [dot] com
