Controller Job in Cloverdale, Indiana US
Essential Functions
1. Supervise small accounting team, including all daily accounting functions2 Maintain general ledger and all monthly financial reports3 Treasury management4 Financial and tax reports for county, state and federal regulatory organizations5 Review and authorize grain payments6 Safeguard company assets and maintain high level of internal control7 Fixed asset and inventory controls8 Financial statement, including all footnote disclosures and operating forecasts9 Coordinate and prepare information for annual financial audits.10. Prepare all Sales, Use, Excise, Feed Grains and other tax reports, including all other operating tax forms required by law.11. Implementation and administration of human resources functions.12. Assist with basic maintenance of computer and software systems.13. Must maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.14. Ability to manage others.15. Regular attendance.16. Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere while representing POET.17. Maintain a team environment with other plant departments.18. Champion POET BiorefiningCloverdale in the community.19. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Qualified candidates should have a BS or BA in Accounting or other formal training and 5+ years full charge accounting experience.
Experience: Experience with grains accounting systems and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is beneficial.
CPA, CMA preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
