Controller / Office Manager Job in Malden, Massachusetts US
Kforce is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and reporting and manage an administrative office and staff including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Orders within this closely held, well established, and successful food manufacturing company.
Essential Functions: Reporting to the President and VP, the Controller will be responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsThis position will supervise an office staff of three individuals that are responsible for administrative, customer service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functionsThe Controller will have responsibility to review completed daily production schedules as well as shipping and receiving invoices and will ensure data is accurately entered into the inventory systemThis position also manages bank deposits and account cash balancesOther Functions: Work with and assist the Vice President of Manufacturing, VP of Purchasing, Director of Information Technology, the Director of Manufacturing Compliance, and Human Resources where requiredHave frequent communication with operational Department HeadsController / Office Management Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in AccountingA CPA will be a plus10 years minimum of hands-on accounting management and office management experience with a solid understanding of process cost accounting, ideally from a food manufacturing or other manufacturing or processing environmentPrior supervisory experience is requiredStrong systems skills, comfortable with various General Ledger packages, and solid Excel skills are required
