Our brands include Duncan Hines, Aunt Jemima, Lenders Bagels and Vlasic just to name a few.Position Summary: Administers contracts for materials, equipment and services to ensure fulfillment of contractual fiscal and performance obligations.

Develops analytics and reporting.

Supports development of contract specifications by consulting with Procurement, Legal and other functions as required.

Responsible for the control and maintenance of purchasing contracts.

Work is performed under the direction of the Director Purchasing Finance and in coordination with the Procurement department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure supply agreements specific terms and conditions including, but not limited to, quantity, price, payment terms, point of ownership plus of all fiduciary responsibilities as indicated by these agreements meet company plans/expectations.

Improve ability to analyze performance and risk.


Creates and implements appropriate reports by compiling, reviewing and analyzing data.


Develop central repository for contracts.


Review all pertinent points within these supply agreements with the appropriate corporate procurement, legal and other personnel confirming accuracy and compliance with company policy.

Standardize contract procedures where applicable.


Support management of e-procurement systems and other automation.


Enter and maintain approved contracts in Pinnacle systems.


Coordinate with appropriate personnel ensuring preparation of Purchase Order releases which meet intended terms and conditions specified by supply agreements, quotations, and other accepted supplier offers.


Develop and maintain contractor performance measures and manage evaluations by analyzing overall performance through key performance indicators.


Participate in resolution of non-compliance issues through investigation of contract-related discrepancies, complaints, and disputes with suppliers.


Provide advice on all facets of contract administration process and interpretation of contractual provisions.


Review insurance certificates related to purchasing contracts.


Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, and procurement processes.


Proficient in the use of standard business applications software and specialized in-house systems.


Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies and contracts and recommend changes to procedures.


Ability to effectively communicate and present information to business partners, customers and management.


Ability to work on multiple projects of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require trade-offs; solve a range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways; evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams.


Additional experience in manufacturing finance/accounting is preferred.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.

Consumer goods experience a plus.

EXPERIENCE:
Professional experience within packaging/consumer products industry helpful
3 plus years progressive accounting/finance related experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably the food industry.

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:
Must have strong Excel and Microsoft PC software expertise, experience with MRP II or ERP manufacturing systems, standard cost system and variance analysis, BPCS experience a definite plus
Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful professional with practical experience and understanding of financial processes
Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
