Contract Specialist V Job in San Diego 92121
Cradle to grave contracts administration.
Pre-proposal activities to include; review of RFP's, delivery schedules, T&C's, quality specs, payment terms, pricing, ITAR compliance, and overall compliance to ATK guidelines.
Post Award activities to include; review of the purchase order, delivery schedules, T&C's, payment terms, pricing, and compliance to ATK's quote/proposal.
Changes; Works closely with the product managers and program managers on a daily/weekly basis to ensure all changes in Scope of Work, Specs, Delivery Schedule, and Price are documented and captured in the contracts through contract modifications.
Negotiates with customers concerning price, delivery schedule, payment terms, and T&C's as they affect each program / contract.
Prepares and executes Non-Disclosure Agreements, and similar documents.
Manages a portfolio of customer contracts and supports the individual program managers.
Required Skills: A Minimum Bachelors Degree and 8 plus years of hands experience with Contracts administration.
8-12 years experience with the following: All facets of contracts administration activities within the aerospace and defense industry, FAR/DFAR, EAR/ITAR, UCC, and International contracting.
Secret clearance.
Strong customer service and negotiating skill sets and excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop/build strong working relationships with customers and a team player, works well within a group or individually.
Multi-tasking and ability to meet short deadlines and goal oriented and the ability to work in high pressure situations.ATK has the people, strategy, agility, and products to thrive in a highly dynamic national security and space environment.
