Contextual Researcher Job in Memphis, Tennessee US
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent, preferably in business, finance OR related discipline.
Experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, Project Management, accounting, Audit or operational analysis.
Undergraduate degree plus Graduate degree in Library Studies or experience in related fields that leverage strong research and communication skills.
Conduct contextual research o Accurately estimate time required for specific research tasks o Determine and locate appropriate sources for contextual research o Conduct contextual research on given topics using tools such as the Internet, databases, periodicals, books, Analyst reports, etc. o Assist in developing deliverables by locating images, statistics and stories o Expected to be creative in gathering and analyzing research to solve problems Analyze and synthesize data - work alone and with others to identify implications in research, and generate ideas to meet customer needs Report on findings and implications - document and present research findings to team in an organized and articulate manner.
Generate results with strong strategic recommendations and informed trend forecasting.
Build internal Contextual Research resources o Create and maintain CR tools, resources, processes, content, and services o Knowledge of print and electronic sources /products including databases and search engines o Understanding of strength and appropriateness of sources for particular tasks o Search query knowledge and boolean internet search skills o Knowledge, research, and data indexing skills o Ability to contribute to knowledge management and intellectual property development o Able to develop and CR maintain tools & resources - e.
g., databases, resource inventories o Possess technical computer literacy and skills as it applies to standard practices and the cutting-edge of Contextual Research o Able to articulate knowledge to team members clearly and succinctly o Able to collaborate on specific tasks and goals with team members
