Accountabilities in this role Marketing communications role that provides the Generic Pharmaceuticals business with tools and resources that bring measurable value to our customers and differentiate us from our competitors.

This position designs and maintains an effective marketing communication strategy with customers, marketing and our sales teams.

Accountabilities: Developing marketing communication strategies, ensuring alignment with brand and messagingCoordinating with Creative Services, Public Relations, Trade Shows, Events, Internal Communications, e-Business, Market Research, and other departmentsFacilitation of communications materials/creation and writing of marketing and training collateral (case studies, newsletters, presentations, reports, brochures, catalogs, training materials, interactive tools, website, etc.)Responsible for the development of the Capsule publication (Generic Pharmaceuticals publication) as well as other specific Generics publicationsResponsible for communications related to new Generic Pharmaceuticals launches and other Generics industry newsResponsible for communications related to legislative/reimbursement issues related to Generic PharmaceuticalsDevelopment of new marketing communications program opportunities for Generic PharmaceuticalsMarketing communications budget managementOutside vendor negotiation and managementManagement of all projects to achieve target timelinesManagement of communications plan, theme/messaging and design materials for trade showsResponsible for advocating and supporting the Cardinal Health brand Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (major in marketing, communications, web design, fine arts, graphic design, journalism, English or related field)(3-5 years or 5-7 years - dependent on level) marketing communications experienceKnowledge of the Generics Pharmaceutical market and of the suppliers and customers of the Generics Pharmaceutical businessProficient with MS Office programs and related marketing/communications technologiesAbility to develop and implement strategies and programs that support and help meet business objectives.

Experience in health care industry and advanced degree (Master's) a plus
