WHAT YOU WILL DO: Develop, implement and monitor controls within each business unit to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Identify gaps in controls and implement corrective actions with business.
Report to management on regulatory developments and risks/issues identified within each business based on evaluation of the results from audits, risk assessments, training, and regulatory examinations.
Manage team responsible for conducting ongoing compliance monitoring and risk assessments, executing the audit program, and monitoring regulatory developments, overseeing the compliance training program, and carrying out the compliance plan.
Provide advice on new and existing regulations and laws that impact the bank's operations.
Assist in managing regulatory examinations and responses to findings.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor's degree 8+ years of banking compliance, audit, or regulatory experience.
Strong management and organizational skills, including ability to prioritize several projects at a time and work under tight deadlines.
Thorough knowledge of banking laws and regulations and understanding of the financial services regulatory and compliance environment.
Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple business areas.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
