The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Corporate Communications department.

Key duties include writing/editing of press releases, pitching media stories, internal communications support, project management, and coordinating/maintaining the integrity of other communications and projects (award applications, direct emails, newsletters, intranet, archiving etc.) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

Develop a variety of communications materials including press releases, media kits, newsletters and campaigns to promote DaVita.

Work with the content experts to review/edit material and manage review process.

Coordinate and help manage media promotions, etc with key internal and external audiences.

Manage multiple projects - including award applications, research, development, communications recommendations, reporting and maintenance.

Communicate in a confident professional manner with all levels of teammates, patients, vendors and outside parties by phone, fax, mail and email both on-location and off-site.

Administrative duties as assigned (including but not limited to scheduling appointments, calendaring, filing, copies).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience preferred.

A minimum of 1-2 years of communications experience or related field.
