Communication Specialist Job in Lisle 60532, Illinois US
This position develops communication materials using a variety of media for internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, plan members, consultants, prospects, investors and the media.
The Communication Specialist helps shape the perception and identity of SXC in the marketplace via the communication strategy that is developed and executed and the communication vehicles that are created and distributed.
The ultimate goal of the communication strategy will be to ensure: Appropriate recognition and validation within the industry;Consistent and compelling messaging across all audiences;A positive corporate image and reputation;Differentiation and brand integrity;Client retention and new client acquisition.
Develop high-quality, compelling communication pieces in support of communication plans for all audiences: member, client, prospect, consultant, investor, employees and media.
Develop communications across a variety of media: newsletters, announcements, Web site, sales collateral, welcome packets, case studies, white papers, conferences and tradeshow materials.
Create integrated communications that consistently and accurately reinforce brand identity.
Coordinate with design function to ensure that creative treatment supports overall message.
Support new and creative communications approaches.
Help capitalize on recognition opportunities for the company and its products/services.
Proactively work with sales and account management to identify opportunities to enhance existing communications and position the company appropriately.
Help develop communication plans for targeted audiences.
Follow and enforce style guidelines and corporate standards.
Ensure all communication deliverables are of the highest quality, are error-free and enhance the image and perception of SXC.Proven creative writing skills Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilitiesAbility to build relationships with key internal customersStrong interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge of social networks and other creative messaging venuesAbility to manage and execute communication plans for multiple audiencesUnderstanding of the sales cycleAbility to take complex topics and communicate them effectivelyDemonstrated ability to make a brand relevant and compellingProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple prioritiesMarketing or Communications degree preferred5 to 7 years Corporate writing experience with a Sales-oriented focusExperience with developing web site contentMedia relations a plusKnowledge and experience in health care / PBM industry a plus If interested, please apply online at http://track.
