Commissions/Closing Supervisor Job in Northbrook 60062, Illinois US
Job Title: Commissions/Closing Supervisor Description: Responsible for the supervision of the commissions processing function for the Central Region, a business made up of five Local Operations Companies (LOCs) with over 8,000 sales agents.
This individual will oversee the daily closing process to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and the highest level of customer service to our agents and sales managers.
This position reports to the Commissions Manager for the Central Region office located in Northbrook, IL. Responsibilities: Manage and lead commission processing staff made up of 8 closers to ensure all transactions are closed timely and accurately.
Provide leadership in a very high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
Approve agent check requests and commission adjustments.
Trouble-shoot with processors on difficult transactions.
Provide support to agents and managers in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, commission schedules, and commission calculations.
Continually assess the commission processing procedures and look for ways to improve efficiency and enhance customer service.
Provide reporting as required.
Assist in implementing process improvements related to the second phase of a major transition of moving the commission payment process form our 5 LOCs into one consolidated, shared service function in Northbrook (Central Region Home Office).
This will require training on new processes, as well as acquiring a keen understanding of how the LOC processes differ from one another, and making decisions regarding where consistency can be brought to bear.
Qualifications: Five to Seven years business experience, with at least three years in a service environment.
Supervisory experience required.
Solid math skills required.
Real Estate industry experience preferred.
Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and organization skills required.
