Warehouse Associate Team Leader Summary/Responsibilities of this position: This position will be located at the San Antonio or San Marcos Retail Support Centers and will report in to a Facility Leader.
Candidates selected for this position will participate in a leadership training program for up to 12 months.
During that time, the Partner will receive on-the job training, attend company sponsored leadership courses, and with appropriate guidance, the Associate Team Leader (Management Trainee) will supervise primarily non-exempt Partners and oversee a tactical team engaged in supporting the day to day efforts of the department.
The Associate Team Leader (Management Trainee) position is the foundation for Partners and College Graduates who are pursuing a career in Distribution Leadership in a Retail Support Operation.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related coursework or 1-3 years of related industry experience.
- Fundamental working knowledge and compliance with: industry, OSHA, DOT, EEOC, EPA, and State Employment Laws.
- Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, multi-tasked work environment.
- Written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills a plus.
- Good analytical ability and decision making skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic skills in analysis and influence of people and process.
- Demonstrate proficiency with operating internal and external software (ie MS Word, MS Excel, Email).
- Ability to work flexible schedules to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Candidates selected to interview for the position must successfully demonstrate the critical success factors outlined for the position (ie leadership, motivation, interpersonal skills, etc.) during the interview process.
