Collections Specialist for Insurance Company Job in Irvine 92614, California US
Local Orange County office looking for a Collections Specialist.
The duties for the Collections Specialist would include the following: Collections Specialist will be responsible for collection of all outstanding premiums including Statement of Outstanding Items and Statement of Continuous Bonds.
Collections Specialist would be making collection calls to producers and principals.
Collection Specialist would be preparing and sending collection letters, resolves billing issues by working with Service Dept.
and producers/principals.
Collection Specialist would also be responsible for preparing aging and management reports.
Collection Specialist will be responsible for assigning past due premium to direct collection.
Collection Specialist will be working closely with branch managers and supervisor and maintains over 60 day and 90 day past due premium within guidelines.
Requirements • • Must have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in accounting with emphasis in credit and collections, accounts receivable, and customer service; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Collection Specialist must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Collection Specialist must also have an Associate Degree in accounting/Finance or college level courses in accounting/Finance.
Collection Specialist must have 3 or more years of experience in Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivables and Customer Service.
Experience with Insurance or Surety Bonds is a HUGE PLUS!!!! All applicants applying for US job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
