Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for Large Health Network Job in Fort Worth 76104, Texas US

The facilities at 1500 South Main have grown to a hospital licensed for 567 beds along with a freestanding outpatient care center and a dedicated facility for psychiatric services.
The new patient tower across from John Peter Smith Hospital and our new hospital in Arlington take us into our next era. Description: Our Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy at John Peter Smith Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a full time Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator.
Under the direct supervision of the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a Clinical Pharmacy and Drug Utilization Evaluation program, reviewing and advising on drug efficacy and cost control, and for education for departmental employees as well as District medical and nursing staff.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) and two years hospital experience in a clinical pharmacy required.
Registered license in the State of Texas required.
Hospital residency required if experience less that five working years in a hospital.
Proficiency in the use of data processing equipment preferred.
