Civil Engineer / Construction - Baltimore Job in Columbia 21046, Maryland US
We are currently seeking a Senior level Construction Engineer or Field Engineer with at least 20 years of professional experience.
The qualified candidate must have a degree in civil/structural engineering (or equivalent) and a PE License.
The ideal fit for this position will have a strong background in Construction Management and practices and know the means and methods of residential, commercial and industrial structures.
This candidate will be trained in OSHA compliance, work place safety, and be proficient in estimating and scheduling.
In this role, you will inspect, study, assess, and determine the cause and origin of structural failures, construction defects and site issues and write reports for each assignment.
A general contractors license is a plus.
Must possess good client and communication skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to perform inspections in confined spaces and on ladders/roofs.
