Civil Engineer - Bridges Job in Springfield 07081, New Jersey US
Civil Engineer - BridgesSuccessful Engineering firm is in need of a qualified Bridge Engineer to be responsible for individual bridge design projects assigned by the project manager.
Position may involve some local travel.
Requirements BS in Civil Engineering and 10+ years experience, related to the evaluation, rehabilitation and design of highway bridges.
A PE License in NJ, CT, or NY is required.
A good knowledge and understanding of AASHTO design specifications is necessary.
Familiarity with CAD and standard desktop design software are a plus.
Excellent communications skills, the ability to work on a variety of assignments and work with minimum supervision.
