4 year degree from accredited institution with relevant coursework, additional applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications: Position Summary: The Citrix Administrator will architect, design, install, and configure Citrix products, taking the expert role in an established Citrix support team.

The successful candidate will have solid experience with applying Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Web Interface and EdgeSight in complex enterprise-level Windows environments to support a multi-facility organization.

This individual will guide the development of system policies and procedures that is consistent with company goals, Citrix best practices and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and deploy assigned systems.


Recommend, schedule, and perform Citrix system improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.


Periodically perform functionality tests to ensure Citrix system integrity.


Create and supply required reports in response to business user needs.


Develop, document, and maintain practices, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Anticipate, identify, troubleshoot, mitigate and resolve complex or escalated hardware and software problems on Citrix and supporting systems.

Escalate issues to management as necessary.


Provide consultation/leadership on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.


Participate in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services.


Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Manage overall project and the work of assigned team members to ensure that key deliverables are executed within schedule and to budget, and ensure that quality standards are met.Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct research and make recommendations to management on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems.


Participate in a support capacity in the planning and development of long-term strategic goals for systems in conjunction with end-users and department managers.


Provide guidance and/or training to junior members of the team and other staff
In the absence of the IT Manger may be called upon to manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team and respond to queries and request from senior management.


Support and maintain information security measures as appropriate to the position.
