Certified Medical AssistantNO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS!We are currently interviewing for a Certified Medical Assistant  About our PracticePulmonary Physicians of the North Shore, established in 1987, is a growing six physician/one nurse practitioner outpatient practice specializing in pulmonary and sleep medicine. The practice has an on-site pulmonary function lab and 4 bed accredited sleep center that allows us to take care of the full spectrum of any patient’s pulmonary and sleep medicine needs.Pulmonary Physicians will continue to grow to benefit the care of our patients. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. About the OpportunityJob Purpose: To aid our physicians in providing quality care to our patients.Job Summary: Looking for energetic outgoing person to assist in our clinical department with patient care.This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 9:00 - 5:00. We offer a comprehensive benefit package.Duties:  Ø      Preparing exam rooms.Ø      Checking patients into our EMR system. Ø      Record and measurement of Vitals. Ø      Review of medications and pertinent medical information from our patients.Ø      Performing Spirometry, Exercise Oximetry and EKG’s.Ø      Cross train for other positions in our office.  Skills / Qualifications: Successful candidates are individuals who posses a positive attitude, are energetic, articulate, focused and committed to deliver excellent quality patient care, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Education:  Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School with a minimum of 6 months clinical work experience.
