Cash Application/Credit Manager Job in Dallas 75201, Texas US
Ajilon Finance is currently working a manufacturing company to fill a cash application/credit manager position on a temporary to hire basis.The position will receive, batch, post, balance and archive payments and adjustments to accounts receivable in a complex, multi-company environment.
The employee will interface with bank, lockbox and merchant account vendors to ensure that all transactions are correctly and promptly accounted for. The employee will work closely with collectors onsite and in other locations, and with management to identify and share information about trends or patterns in payment activity.
The employee will observe company policies and all applicable laws and regulations regarding granting credit limits, banking and the security of financial information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complies with established company criteria for timeliness and accuracy of cash application Reconciles daily cash, credit card, and ACH transactions between bank and system reports which includes foreign currency Works with collections team to ensure proper application of cash receipts Develop and standardize written policy documentation related to the credit and customer set up process.
Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers.
Make credit decisions within assigned authorityPlan and organize activities of credit / customer set up team to ensure file reviews are completed timely / accuratelyNegotiate documentation and payment terms with customers to ensure transactions are properly securedResolve credit issues with customersDevelop management reportingResponsible for ICS/SOX compliance for the cash application and credit functionsJob Experience: Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in line-item cash applications and credit managementExperience with foreign currency/exchanges rates preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to independently obtain and interpret information Experience with an ERP systemEducation/Licenses/Certificates required: Associate?s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
