COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER DescriptionPeter Marino Architect is an award-winning, international architecture firm well known for its prestigious design projects.
Based in New York City, PMA is a 125+ person firm with satellite office in Philadelphia and Southampton.
We have an immediate opening for an in-house Communications Manager to handle a broad range of communications and promotional activities for our firm.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, articulate and personable, and has strong organizational and administrative skills.
Experience in writing press releases, trafficking images to the media and coordinating interviews and special events is required.
Responsibilities- Organize, track and disseminate media coverage- Maintain archives which include magazines, press clippings and photographs- Manage press kits- Stay abreast of industry news and trends; monitor trades and consumer publications relating to architecture, design and fashion- Coordinate interviews and photo shoots- Maintain media relationships and database Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, marketing or related field- 5 years professional experience- Excellent written and verbal communications and problem-solving skills- Experience with media list development and maintenance- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet and Photoshop a must- Design, fashion and luxury media contacts preferred- Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to changes and meet deadlines Salary/Benefits- We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including: - Fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance for employees and their families- Fully paid life insurance- Fully paid short and long-term disability insurance- Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal days- Company matched 401(k) plan To ApplyFor immediate, confidential consideration, please email a cover letter along with your resume and salary requirements in a Word document to adminjobs [at] petermarinoarchitect [dot] com , or via fax to (212) 750-3081.
