We become thoroughly knowledgeable about our clients, and then develop a comprehensive financing package structured to meet a company's needs.  PNC Business Credit is one of the nations top asset based lenders and has been a consistent source of capital for middle market companies and private equity firms throughout the peaks and troughs of economic cycles.  From coast to coast, from small to large, in industries from A to Z, we get deals done!  This position will be located in and will report to a .   As a Collateral / Loan Analyst for the Business Credit Group, you will be providing skilled accounting and collateral analysis processing functions for a portfolio of up to 25 simple accounts.  You will use your abilities to perform settlement, general ledger accounting, collateral and  loan processing and customer service for Business Credit customers, as well as maintain and control departmental accounting records.  As a Collateral / Loan Analyst, you will have on-going contact with direct loan customers regarding their sales, collection payments, cash collateral, and advances to their DDA. You will review and record client accounts receivable aging, accounts receivable loan balances, inventory reports and letter of credit reports to PNC's general ledger. You will  update the PNC loan systems to reflect the correlation between client loans and collateral values.  You will use your excellent communication skills to resolve basic clients problems, interact with clients and other internal employees to research and solve wire transfer, funding, reconciliation, client processing, and loan issues that may arise.  You will prepare collateral support information and client trend reports in order to provide management with information about Business Credit customers and provides Relationship Managers with information to make credit decisions about customer accounts.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:   A working knowledge of basic accounting and banking principles is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Must be able to follow policies and procedures for maintaining client records.Must have effective PC skills and be able to learn PNC's loan and accounting systems.Minimum of 2 years experience in Asset Based lending is preferred.   PNC is committed to offering you a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.  We design our full time and part time benefits programs based on PNC's benefits philosophy to provide quality levels of coverage at affordable costs over the long term for both employees and PNC.
