CNC Milling set up operator Job in Oakland 07436, New Jersey US
A growing manufacturing company located in Northern New Jersey has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Milling machine set up operator.
This individual will set up and operate milling numerical control machines.
The project is anticipated to last three months with an opportunity for extension depending on workload.
Major job duties include: * Reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheets, sketches* Preparing and pre-setting all tools needed for machining operation* Mounting, aligning, and securing tooling, attachments, and workpiece on machine.
* Starting machine and monitoring displays of machine operation to detect malfunctions* Stopping machine to change cutting tools and setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications.
* Entering commands or manually adjusting machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
* Performing machine maintenanceJob requirements and qualifications: * One year certificate from college or technical school* 3 years experience with set-up, and operation of CNC Vertical and Horizontal MillsRequired Skills: MACHINE SET-UP, OPERATE MACHINEJoin Aerotek Commercial StaffingSM.
