CNA/Home Health Aide Job in Indianapolis, Indiana US

If you are enthusiastic, caring and looking for a great career we have several openings with our expanding territories: Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health AideProvides routine, personal healthcare, such as bathing, dressing, or grooming to elderly, sick and/or disabled persons in accordance with the plan of care completed by a Visiting Nurse (RN) or a Visiting Therapist.
Works under the supervision of a Visiting Nurse and/or Visiting Therapist.
Takes vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate)Performs personal hygiene and grooming including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Bed bathsSponge, tub or shower bathsShampooing hairNail and skin care may not trim nailsOral hygiene Toiletry and elimination activitiesAssists patient with adequate nutrition and fluid intake including meal preparation and feeding (excludes tube feedings) Assists patient with self-administered medications Keeps records as instructed by the Visiting Nurse or Visiting Therapist and submits reports on a weekly basis Reports to the Visiting Nurse or Visiting Therapist supervising the case any change in the patients mental or physical condition or in the home situation.
Performs light housekeeping tasks, only if performed in conjunction with allowable home health aide activities, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient and as instructed by the Visiting Nurse or Visiting Therapist Other duties as assigned All positions require state licensure/certification, CPR Certification and valid drivers license.
