CLAIMS & APPEALS SPECIALIST Job in Job location not provided
CLAIMS & APPEALS SPECIALIST If you have an eye for detail and advanced human resources experience, this opportunity may be a perfect fit for you! We are a non-profit division of a major California healthcare trade association, with an opening available in our Chatsworth office for a temporary, full-time employee to act as liaison between heath care employers HR staff and State EDD personnel.
This position is responsible for processing unemployment insurance (UI) claims and appeals within strict deadlines.
Primary duties include collecting and analyzing employment data from employers and preparing protests/appeals for UI claims.
Ideally, we seek an experienced HR generalist, coordinator or specialist.
Healthcare and unemployment insurance knowledge a huge plus! Excellent organization and communication skills are essential, both oral and written.
Proficient and accurate computer skills required.
Knowledge of healthcare-related policies, practices and labor laws is also beneficial.
