CCNA Network Analyst Job in Oak Brook, Illinois US

A Systems Analyst is needed to handle the day-to-day operations and support of the Internet and VPN network.
The consultant will prioritize, track, and manage incidents.
He/she will troubleshoot and resolve network related issues and perform network monitoring and analysis, statistical analysis and report generation, (insert space) vendor management and coordination, and issue escalation and facilitation.
This consultant will also be responsible for light administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Active Directory and Systems Management technologies.
Experience Required: 5+ years experience in a Network Analyst or Engineering network position in a large, diverse enterprise environment comprised of varied network technologies, including Cisco routers and switches, VPN concentrators, and WiFi (802.11a/b/g). Global experience is a plus.
Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills are a must.
Required Technology Skills: Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN technologies (DSL, 802.
11b/g, satellite, T1, VPN) is required.
Network management and monitoring technologies and tools, network security concepts, tools, and testing methodologies.
Preferred Technology Skills: Sniffer/Wireshark analysis, Solarwinds, WhatsUpGold, OpNet, Microsoft Active Directory, System Center, IBM BizTalk Education & Certifications: BS in Computer Science or Telecommunications (preferred)Network+ or CCNA preferred Synectics offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
