CAM Programmer - Entry LevelDescription: CAM Programmer - Entry LevelCAD, MachiningOur client is looking for a CAM Programmer with one to two years of experience or entry level knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be willing to train within this role.

Responsibilities include: Create CAM programs for CNC Mill composite material, SST, Aluminum, titanium and plastics.

Work closely with the CNC Mill Operator to ensure that specific requirements are met when job involves a non-standard milling procedure.

Monitor CAM process to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality in design process, correcting any problems as they arise.

Transport or transfer fixtures and/or printed circuit boards to designated location.

Our Client's goal is to establish a partnership with electronic manufacturing companies, working together to solve their manufacturing needs.

This is an estimated 6-12 month contingent/temporary position through Volt Technical Resources- a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, located in Portland, Oregon.

Requirements: Required Skills for this CAM Programmer position includes the following: Knowledge of principles, practices and methodologies as related to CAM Programming, CAD and machining.

Ability to effectively use Microsoft Windows, and Virtual Gibbs or MasterCAM software.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

Bilingual - fluency in Spanish highly preferred.
