C++ Software Engineer (Software Trading) Job in long island City 11101, New York US
Client is renowned in developing Order Management Systems that allows institutions to trade financial instruments (Equities, Fx, etc) and are in immediate need of a C++ Software Engineers to develop from scratch if need be, design, test and support of new and existing software components while engaging with other business units within the company.
The individual should be responsible for identifying, research, documentation, documenting and fixing software defects and working with the QA team to create and execute comprehensive test plans.
Ability to research and document new and existing software functionality and technologies is highly appreciated!SKILLS REQUIRED No more than 10 years prior experience developing software using C/C++, releasing real time products and solid understanding of SDLC.
Familiarity developing mathematical ALGORITHMS for any kind of software across any industry is a huge plus.
Pay attention to detail and has a solid understanding of Design Patterns and Unit Testing.
Familiarity with Solaris or Linux and Windows operating systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
