Job ID: 1183Position Description: The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Business Process Manager in our Worcester, MA office.

SUMMARYLead strategic business improvement projects and initiatives through operating model assessments, business analysis, process reengineering and continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.

Partner with Personal Lines business process owners and our internal and external customers to develop winning strategies and implement meaningful, sustained change across the Organization.

Manage the daily relationship between Personal Lines and our sourcing partners; including the identification and value assessment of all business process migration opportunities, resource impact analysis and management, the establishment & analysis of performance service standards and quality programs, training and development plans and ongoing communication and collaboration with PL Operations business process owners and Hanovers Corporate Sourcing department.

Directly manage PL Future Leaders Program Business Analysts; ensuring each participant acquires business acumen through meaningful work experiences across PL and Hanover, enabling them to significantly contribute to the achievement of our strategic objectives and preparing them for permanent positions across our Organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate process goal-setting to determine the degree of change required and align the appropriate method of process improvement.

Contribute to the evaluation of current processes to identify opportunities to eliminate non/low-value added work, automate or streamline value-added work to increase efficiencies or source work to optimize capacity of staff and scalability of operating modelAccess and interpret meaningful data to conduct critical analysis of business operations and technical capabilities, which yield recommendations to customers regarding viable business solutions.

Effectively utilize data to lead project teams through improvement efforts and build business cases for change.

Research and maintain knowledge of best practices and industry trends.

Perform risk assessment, cost/benefit analysis and business value analysis.

Provide PL Operations leaders with recommendations, options and alternative approaches; including business contingency plans.

Coach others on best practices, methodologies, tools and techniques.

Perform project management and implementation management functions; determining rollout strategies and owning the overall success of each initiative.

Assist customers in identifying and establishing strategic goals, objectives and critical metrics.

Work in partnership with our PL Operations Leadership Team to identify business process migration opportunities in alignment with strategic priorities.

Position Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - 5-8 years professional experience & successful implementation of process improvements and business process migrations- Bachelor's degree; graduate degree (preferred) - Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.

- Within established guidelines, plans, conducts and may supervise assignments.

- Reviews progress and evaluates results.

- May train less experienced employees in technical complexities of assigned work.

- Recommends changes in procedures.

- Operates with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.

- Reviews progress with management.

- May be assigned to one or more larger projects and be accountable for reporting on project status.

- Must be able to travel to India as needed.
