Business Process Analyst - Quote to Cash Job in Germantown 20876, Maryland US

Position Details: The Business Process Analyst will play the lead role in assisting the business to streamline end-to-end processes.
This will include using business process management (BPM) and Lean methodologies, coupled with a good understanding of the JDSU systems functionality.
The Business Process Analyst deals with the tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business process-related knowledge through modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states.
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for the following: - Demonstrating to the organization opportunities for best-in-class.
- Disciplined and shareable process knowledge.
- Embracing methods, techniques, notations, standards and best practices for process improvement and requirements management.
- Assisting the process team to identify and solve problems in the process.
- Focal point for new tool evaluation.
- Focal point for establishing new projects and getting project team established and operational The Business Process Analyst should seek continuous process improvement without always needing system code changes.
Such improvement will come from business activity monitoring (BAM) where processes are continuously measured and benchmarked to look for improvement opportunity.
The Business Process Analyst will assist the Business Engagement Manager and Business Process Owners in estimating and determining project scope, feasibility and ROI. The Business Process Analyst will also work closely with Project Managers and technical developers to aid with the delivery of solutions that will enhance JDSUs user efficiencies, user experience and productivity.
The Quote to Cash process covers the sub-processes of: Quote, Order Management, POS/Channel Data, Supply Chain, CM Interface, Revenue Recognition, Inventory Costing and Accounting, Invoice, Credit and Collections.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience.
- Business analysis on at least 8 full lifecycle projects (must include Oracle 11i ERP application experience in Quoting, Order Management, Demand Management, Supply Chain Management, Revenue Recognition, Accounts Receivable and integrating related systems).
- More than 7 years of business analysis experience.
- More than 7 years of business consulting experience.
- More than 7 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing.
- More than 3 years experience as a Lead Business Analysts.
- Process Re-Engineering experience.
- Lean Six Sigma experience is desired.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
